Scott Posno Design is a Vancouver-based design studio dedicated to creating timeless and elegant houses. We work closely with clients to bring their dream homes to life.
Our practice is personalized and hands-on. We dive into the specific ways in which each client inhabits their space so that we can offer considered proportions complemented with unique design touches and thoughtfully resolved details. Each house is a delicate balance of the practical and useful with artful composition and spatial harmony. Our comprehensive design approach includes careful consideration of interiors, landscape, furnishings, and art.
We are inspired by craft and attention to detail, and that rigour guides us through complex design problems to outcomes that look and feel effortless and simple. Working in this way means involvement at every stage of the process, from initial space planning through completed construction. We work with builders, engineers, consultants, and craftspeople, creating beautiful homes that are responsive to the contours of sites, materials, and the lives of our clients.

Scott was named the Western Living Arthur Erickson Memorial Award for an emerging architect in 2022.
Scott Posno holds a BA in Visual Arts from Western University (1992), and a BA in Architecture from the University of British Columbia (1995). Before establishing Scott Posno Design in 2003, he distinguished himself at several architecture firms in Vancouver, including Acton Ostry Architects, Henriquez Partners, and DGBK Architects. He has spent nearly twenty years exclusively dedicated to his practical approach to designing beautiful homes. His experience includes the design and completion of hundreds of houses at various scales across Canada.
